Mario is a wonderfully vibrant and entertaining kitten with a very sweet disposition. He's confident & curious, jam packed full of energy, even in his sleep. LOL Enjoys the outdoors, on a lead or in the catio, which will be important for his enrichment. And is surprisingly well-behaved for a male kitten with his energy levels.
He's a devoted parkour professional who likes to climb and LOVES to jump. He's also a bit of an uncoordinated dork at times, because balance is important. And when he's not exploring his world or playing hard, he'll usually snuggled up close by, or with you, and sleeps for ages.
He's not a huge fan of being picked up or cuddled for more than a few seconds, but he will sleep on your legs or next to you, and will occasionally enjoy a cuddle when in the right mood. This may change as he ages, but it's important to acknowledge that he's best suited to someone who DOESN'T require affection from their cat.
Mario also experiences separation anxiety with his human due to the tragic and traumatic accident that lead to him being fostered. It's not all the time, but often enough that he will need a human who's a real home-body, who either works from home or who doesn't work.
Not food obsessed, but LOVES treats. His faves are brie and smoked salmon. This means he would be open to learning tricks and performances as he is food motivated. Mario doesn't mind a bit of a walk on a lead & harness either. He's very brave considering how his life started.
Mario along really well with other cats and would ideally be adopted with his foster friend, Pearl Aspen (who's an absolute darling), who he's been with since they were both 6weeks old, Pear's profile is here: . If adopted without Pearl, he'll need to go to a home that already has a young/playful cat, or friendly cat loving dog as he needs a play mate!

Mario is a healthy raw/high quality fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000016222764, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption. His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
