I am a new breeder registered with DogsNSW producing both medium and long coat White Swiss Shepherd Dogs.

I am producing moderate to high drive WSSDs and strive to produce correct breed type and outgoing temperaments. My dogs are hip & elbow x-rayed with great results, DNA tested and eye health certified.

Our puppies are raised in the home environment with our 2 year old son, and exposed to everyday household sounds, ensuring the puppy is temperamentally stable.

We own only one mature age breeding female "Artemis", who has been proven in the show ring with 72 challenge points to date, and a Class in Group awarded by an international judge.

We have retained two female puppies from our first litter to raise up and enter the show and sporting rings. Both girls have their own attributes that positively contribute to the breed. One female will return for a single litter if she matures as we hope, and passes all health testing. She will produce moderate energy and drive puppies, that are suitable to active pet homes. The other female remains with us for showing and sporting and will also have a litter in the future if she passes all health testing. She will produce higher drive puppies suitable to all disciplines.

We are expecting our next litter from Artemis late 2023. After this, she will be desexed as we do not believe in mass producing puppies.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

My breeding dogs are hip & elbow scored with great results, full DNA profile and clear of all genetic illnesses, as well as additional health testing not commonly done in the breed such as eye health certification.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

We live on a rural property, which ensures puppies are exposed to all sorts of farm machinery noises as well as planes (crop dusters). As they are raised in our home, they are exposed to a wide variety of household noises such as television, kettle, vacuum cleaner, blow dryers etc. We have a dog obsessed 2 year old son who helps with the socialising and handling of puppies.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Yes

We have a sales agreement signed by both parties with every puppy sold, detailing the buyer’s responsibilities to the puppy, our responsibilities to the buyer and the puppy, and information regarding the breed, recommendations on health, diet, grooming etc. We have an online questionnaire that can be completed via our website, and then we begin communication via text or email. A phone call or in person interview is undertaken prior to the acceptance of any buyer. Buyers will be informed if they are not successful.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

The right home is our absolute priority. Puppies will remain with us for as long as necessary to find those homes. Our first litter of puppies had multiple stay beyond 12 weeks of age, receiving their booster vaccinations with us at no additional expense to buyers, just to ensure they had the best homes for their individual needs.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes

Any issues at any life stage of your puppy, I am here. I want to be contacted, I want to be involved and help my buyers. I have created a private Facebook group for the exclusive use of my puppy buyers to communicate with me and with each other.

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?

Yes

We offer 6 weeks complimentary pet insurance with Petcover.

Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?

Yes

Any time that situations change and the puppy/dog must be rehomed, I will help.
