I have been involved with Jack Russell Terriers for about 12 years. My involvement in the breed began when I was offered to campaign a Jack Russell for a breeder and I fell in love with their hardiness and their cheeky nature. I aim to breed healthy Jack Russells, clear of hereditary diseases that conform to the breed standard with great temperaments suited for family life, conformation showing and many other dog sports.

About me -
I have been involved in presenting, exhibiting and breeding dogs for around 22 years. Some of the breeds include Pointers, Weimaraner's, Bullmastiff's, Fox Terrier smooths, Kelpies and lately Jack Russell Terriers. I have exhibited these breeds to All breed Best in show, Best in Group and Speciality Best in show wins as well as Royal challenges and BOB. I have had the opportunity to handle some of the top dogs in the country. I have also handled in both USA and UK.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

All of my dogs are tested through Orivet and are clear/negative for genetic disease that affect Jack Russells such at PLL - Primary Lens Luxation; H - Hyperurlcosuria; CMS - Congential Myasthenic Syndrome and SA - Spinocerebellar Ataxia.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

My puppies are born and raised for the first 5 weeks in the house surrounded by household noises. They then spend some time outside with mum. Free running, climbing and playing as well as getting used to property noises like the mower, water truck and cars. They take supervised walks around the property to feed the chickens or collect the mail and are introduced to the other adult dogs including the big dogs.

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

I like to discuss a new owners family situation including experience with dog ownership, if they currently have any other animals and a fully fenced yard. I am happy to do this via email to start with but eventually like to talk on the phone with a new owner.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes

Absolutely. Any time or day I can be contacted by phone call, text or FB message or email. I also offer to take back any of my puppies at any time or age no matter the circumstances.

Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?

Yes

Yes. I prefer that they come back to me. I am happy to take back any of my Jack Russells that have been purchased from me no matter the circumstances. Even if interstate arrangements can be made. I am contactable at anytime.
