Coodlie Park is Eyre Peninsula's premier destinations for those who want a holiday with a difference. Set on a large rural property with extensive facilities for visitors, Coodlie Park is located on the coast between Mount Camel Surf Beach and the spectacular Talia Caves (about 50 kilometers west of Elliston).
Pets are welcome on our property and in the campground, but please note they are not to be inside the cabins and YHA.
The surrounding area is one of South Australia's best-kept secrets. While staying with us in a private cottage, budget dorm accommodation or bush camping site, we can arrange personal tours and expeditions featuring the best of local fishing spots, rugged coastlines and adventure sports.
Coodlie Park offers a unique wilderness experience where guests can enjoy their own private beach, cliff-top walk with outstanding views and Australian wildlife like kangaroos, native birds, emus and wombats.
On your own or accompanied by an experienced and friendly local, you can explore a wide range of destinations--including some special attractions that are not generally available to the public.
We also offer facilities for your next regional meeting, conference or family reunion.
Environmental Commitment
Coodlie Park Farm Retreat has made a conscious decision to use green energy (electricity and gas) that has already had its carbon emissions offset. The property is reliant on its own water supply, collecting all rain water from buildings, cabins and outhouses. Where possible, water that has been used in the shower, sink and washing machines is reused on garden beds on the property.
Recycling is also a large part of our commitment to the environment with all cans, bottles, glasses and tins being collected and recycled.
To ensure compliance and consistency between what we say and what we do, our company is audited annually by Canopy Australia to set the targets for the following year. In most seasons, we are able to achieve a positive carbon footprint balance.
