We have been involved in exhibiting, importing and breeding dogs for over 35years. Having only bred a limited number of litters (our choice), we are very proud to have bred and owned Best in Show winners along with loving pets that are adored by their families. All breeding dogs are tested PRA clear or by parentage. Having larger breeds for many years, we are now enjoying the dachshund as part of our family. We do not breed often nor breed for the market. We NEVER breed just to have a litter.

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

All breeding dogs are tested PRA clear or by parentage.

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

All our puppies are socialised with lots of love around everyday household noises, people and other dogs. They are raised in our home as part of our family.

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Yes

All our puppies will come with limited registration papers ( not for breeding) and will be vet checked, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped along with a desexing contract. All buyers are asked to answer a series of questions before being considered for a puppy?

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

Lots of questions to new buyers about their work, family, home, fencing and their future plans eg. Pregnancy. Constant contact and meetings to ensure puppy has a wonderful loving home for life.
