Breeder of black and brown toy poodles since late 70's. Have successfully bred and exhibited in New Zealand, NSW and Qld. Many major wins along the way including a Best in Show at a speciality toy poodle show with 72 entries.

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?

Yes

My adult toy poodles have all been DNA tested and all puppies sold have been tested to verify parentage

Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

Yes

Puppies are born and raised in my house with their parents and there is always human company I do not have kennels

Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?

Yes

If I am not comfortable that they new owner can provide a similar home to the one I provide, then it is not considered suitable.

Question. Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes

I provide comprehensive care/diet information and am always available for ongoing support.

Question. Do you offer pet insurance?

Am able to organise for new owner, however noted that most prefer to go with their existing insurer to gain maximum discount with multi insurances held with same company.

Question. Do you assist the buyer with re-homing an animal that was purchased from you if they are unable to keep it?

Yes
