A very good reminder about how careful you have to be when looking for pets so you don't get scammed, or buy from a puppy farmer.
Golden rules: First - consider adopting a pet that needs a loving home; If that can't work for you for some reason make sure you research your breed thoroughly to make sure it's going to be a good match for your family and lifestyle; Research and meet the breeder; Make sure the parents have had all appropriate health and temperament testing; Don't rush any part of this process. You want a happy and healthy member of the family that has come from happy and healthy parents, not from a puppy farmer. See the information below 'read this advice before proceeding to buy a pet' as it has important tips that relate to scam ads as well as puppy farmers.
