Beautiful Billy is searching for a place to hang up his lead, kick back on a comfy doggy bed and snooze his days away.
This gorgeous young boy is approximately three years old and has had a pretty rough start to his life. Left tied to the gate of a pound on the outskirts of Sydney, Billy was terribly skinny and had absolutely no idea how to interact with humans. His tail didn't wag, his eyes were vacant and he spent his days merely existing, not living.
In a few short weeks since being in foster care, Billy has really started to come alive. He actively seeks company, wags his tail and loves to give you kisses. He loves his foster fur sister and is living in a family with young children. He is also happily cohabiting with a cat.
Billy is still frightened of many things thanks to his rough start to life. He will need a home with patient, loving owners who are committed to allowing him to experience new things on a regular basis so that he can discover that the world is not scary, but rather, exciting and fun. Billy needs secure fencing and we feel that he would be best suited to a home where he has a doggy friend or where someone is home most of the time.
If you think that Billy, who is desexed, microchipped (900079000443505), vaccinated, negative for heartworm and is flea and tick treated, might be the furry friend you are looking for, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
