Bangalow Koalas Wildlife Corridor is taking shape. So far we have close to thirty properties both planted and interested in joining our corridor. With our recent success with National Landcare Grant over the next year we will complete the Bangalow section of the corridor.
We have visited properties in Ewingsdale, Coopers Shoot, Newyrbar, Possum Creek, Binna Burra, Federal, Rosebank and Repentance Creek so far. What follows is consultations with ecologist, bush regenerators and quotes for work required.
Our long-term goal it to create a Koala wildlife corridor, forming a linkage of habitat from Byron Bay/Bangalow heading westwards towards Lismore, allowing koalas to move safely across the local landscape.
Please support Bangalow Koalas effort to create a wildlife corridor.
